Zutec recertifies for two standards— BSI Kitemark™ for BIM Software / ISO 19650 and ISO 27001

While getting certified for a BSI Kitemark or ISO standard is one thing, completing the annual assessment and getting recertified is another. A business needs to ensure that the same high standards are always maintained, and process and practice does not slip within a business to meet requirements.

Over the last few months, completing annual assessments and recertification for two standards is exactly what Zutec has achieved for the BSI Kitemark™ for BIM Software / ISO 19650 and ISO 27001. Alongside this recognition Zutec meets these standards for another year, below is more about what this means?

Zutec Completes Annual Assessment for BIM Kitemark Certification

In March 2021, Zutec was one of the first organisations to achieve BSI Kitemark™ for BIM software, with Andy Butterfield, Managing Director of Build Environment at BSI stating,

As a global benchmark in BIM software, this is great achievement for Zutec, as the Kitemark measures against software functionality, security, support, development and resilience.  The Kitemark signifies reduced inconsistencies, by offering a consistent way of working across multiple projects and sites, operational resilience by embedding BIM processes and reduction of risk through clarity of compliance—expanding across all construction stages to ensure clients can be confident during design, construction and asset management.

Zutec help set the standard as one of the first companies to achieve this mark, and means that solutions have been subject to independent assessments confirming high quality and usability, as well as quality-controlled processes and robustness against cyber-attacks.

BSI Kitemark Recertification: Taking the lead in BIM Software

Successfully completing our annual assessment for BIM Kitemark Certification is recognition of the hard work of the team involved and supports compliance with the ISO 19560 framework.

ISO 27001 Recertification and NQA Assessment:

In February 2018, Zutec became ISO 27001 certified for the first time.  We are now pleased to announce that following the NQA assessment, Zutec continues to be ISO27001 certified, meaning our systems comply to international security best practice.

ISO27001 is an internationally renowned standard on how to manage information security. This certification ensures that an Information Security Management System (ISMS) is aligned with information security best practices to ensure that information assets remain safe and secure.
